Necklace
(A child and a mother are never apart)
"hey! that's mine! give it back!" came a helpless yelp. The boy with his hoodie on his head jumped and missed his target by an inch. The necklace fell into the hand of a boy with a green highlight in his black hair and an evil light in his red eyes. "Nah. After all, this thing has no value." he chuckled and tossed it to his mate on the other side, the boy laughing and running as the helpless hooded kid ran after him.
Sans felt his eyes sting with tears as he ran after the evil bully. That necklace was his mother's and was the most precious item of his. After her passing, it was all he had left of her.
Nate laughed hysterically as he dashed pass the students. Sans' heart beat faster and faster as he kept running. Thoughts and memories swarmed in his head as he dashed forward.

"mom! i wanna go see the stars!" a small boy with white hair and blue eyes said, pulling his mother towards the door. The woman chuckled lightly as her son dragged her out. "Alright, Sansy." the boy looked back. "mooooooom...i told you not to call me that!" "Oh? And why is that?" "because it's embarrasing!" the boy whined. "Oh Sans, dear." she smiled, nuzzling her face against his. "love you, mom." "I love you too dear."

"mo...mom...?" tears filled the eyes of a small boy. His hands holding his mother's bony one. She had only a few strands of hair on her head. Her skin was ghostly white. Her eyes dull and dim. The man with glasses next to the boy had his hand over his face, his shoulders quaking. The boy kept weeping as he looked at his dying mother. "mom...please...don't g-go..." his mother only smiled. "be...my...brave...li *hack* l-little fu...nny bone...and...*cough*...take...ca...re...of...them...for me..." "m-mom...?" "I...love...you thr...ee...so...much..." the woman closed her eyes for the last time. "mom?! mom! mom!!! mom!!!!" the boy cried. "mom..." tears fell on her face as her son mourned. A soft wail came from the room as well.
Her youngest son Papyrus couldn't even get to know her.

He stopped as he fell to knees. "m...mom..." he sobbed. Hands over his face, he let himself break down.
Matthew had gotten the necklace from Nate and was running down the hall when he banged straight into Principal Asgore. "Oh? Matthew?" he asked. Matthew grew nervous and stepped back. The necklace fell and hit the floor with a clink. The pendant opened and on side revealed small picture of a boy, a woman and a man.
Music was playing from it.

Music was playing from it.
(It's called 'His Theme' from Undertale)
Sans gasped as he heard the music.
Mom...
He felt hot tears slide down his face as he remembered her soft smile.
"Matthew, I doubt this necklace belongs to you." Principal Asgore said seriously. Sweat beaded down the boy's face.
"little one it's time fer bed,
so deary rest your head,
hope your dreams are sugar sweet,
i'll keep ya safe from dread,
owls sing a melody,
as branches from a tree,
rustling a lullaby,
soothe baby birds to sleep,
both a mother and a son,
will never be apart,
love is what keeps us standing,
this feeling from the heart."
Sans involuntarily let the lyrics slip out. His mother used to sing it to him every night. He knew the song by heart.
Principal Asgore heard him and picked the necklace up. Walking over to the boy, he knelt down and offered him the necklace.
A smaller hand accepted it.
"principle asgore...t-thank you..."
