Mother

(This chapter is all about the Gaster bros.)

"Hey all!" the eldest son of Dr. Gaster, Sans said. He was making a YouTube video.

"so...today is mother's day, and i was thinking...i'll tell ya some things 'bout my mother!" He winked. His younger brother, Papyrus was looking at him.

"my mother is simply a-maize-ing! not only is she co-mee-dious, she's also in-teh-lligent! she is also very boot-iful!" he laughed, his signature grin growing falsely wide. Papyrus groaned.

He absolutely hated his brother's lousy puns.

"so I better buck up if I ever wanna meat her standards! she's an egg-cellent mother!" Papyrus was quick to pick up the sad undertone in his brother's humor.

"SANS...WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?"

Sans put his earphones from his ears to hooked on his neck.

"i just...dunno how to express my feelings..." the older boy sighed.

"THAT'S EASY. JUST SAY IT OUT LOUD." Papyrus smiled. "Let me go first."

He cleared his throat.

"HI MOM! I...JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU HOW GRATEFUL I AM...THANK YOU, MOM, FOR EVERYTHING. I LOVE YOU MOM. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!" Papyrus did the heart shape with his hands.

"NOW YOU TRY, SANS." the younger brother encouraged.

"..."

Papyrus grew worried.

"hey mom." Sans started. His once black expression shifted into a soft smile. "it's me, sans. remember me?" he looked dead straight into the laptop. "we had so much fun together. You used ta take me everywhere. i was your little funny bone."

"but...i don't blame ya if you don't remember...i was 8 then." Papyrus gaped as he saw tears form in Sans' eyes.

"p-papyrus never even got the chance to know ya 'cuz he was a baby when that cancer struck you down..." He used his sleeve to wipe his eyes, tears rolling down his cheeks with no end. He revealed a necklace with a red heart pendant from inside of his shirt. "i...i still have your necklace, mom..."

"i love you mom...and i miss you...every day..." he whispered as his eyes stung more. "h...happy mother's day, mom..." he said, his smile growing wider as tears washed his face, he shut down the laptop. He went straight into his brother's embrace.

"Heh...sorry bro...i couldn't..." he looked up. "This is why i didn't do it in the first place..." "SANS...PLEASE PROMISE ME YOU UPLOAD THAT VIDEO." Sans' pupils shrunk. "w-why...?" "BECAUSE YOU SHOWED US HOW YOU TRULY FEEL, BROTHER. PLEASE, UPLOAD THAT VIDEO."

Sans felt too embarrassed to upload it, so Papyrus did it with the name 'MOTHER'S DAY SPECIAL: A FEW WORDS TO OUR MOTHER. FROM: HER CHILDREN ON EARTH'. It turned so popular it had 10k views in just that day.

There were a few comments that said: "I'm sure your mother would be happy to hear that." "Jokester112, you are so sweet!" "I'm sorry to hear about your mother, please stay strong for her!" "Your mother is glad to have a son like you!"

When Sans went on YouTube the next day, he realized he had gained 4k subscribers!
