Minggu Membaca
This whole week long, we had a campaign called "Minggu Membaca", literally meaning "Reading Week".
Since the arrival of our new headmaster, the activities for the campaign changed. We had games and so on for three days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
On Monday, during our "perhimpunan" (Assembly), our headmaster, En. Ganapathy, gave a speech on the importance of reading, and officiated the event.
On Tuesday, we were tasked to do a word search. The first three people who could finish the fastest would get a prize. (I think it was a notebook?)
On Wednesday, the real fun began. We had to ask and answer questions. The entire class was split into two.
Each team was given two papers. Both papers have different questions.
The questions ranged from the interesting:
(Like, where did the 2016 Fifa take place?)
To the challenging:
(Like, what TV show has the characters Rachel, Phoebe and Monica?)
To the incredibly impossible:
(Like what is the name of the yellow Teletubby?)

(#Triggered)
On Thursday, only the Form 4 were involved. It was related to our ULBS (Oral exam) and it goes like this:
We have to go to specified classes assigned by our teacher Pn. Monica and there we will introduce them a book we read.
The things that must be presented are:
Summary
Impacts
Recommendations
My book is called "The Magician's Guild", the first book of the Black Magician Trilogy written by Trudi Canavan, which is followed by "The Novice" and "The High Lord".
(The Magician's Guild)
(The Novice)
(The High Lord)
I was paired up with my best friend and we both got the classes:
2 Batai
2 Belian
2 Cengal
2 Jati
We had to do two classes minimum and if we have enough time, do all.
At 12.00 noon sharp, two classes 4 Belian and 4 Angsana moved out to bring their stories outside the classroom. (Apparently only Pn. Monica's class have to do it, which are 4 Belian and 4 Angsana)
(Y' Know, I'm starting to get a bit jealous of the other classes)
The first class we went to was 2 Jati.
(Wait, what???)
(We apparently got disoriented and ended up doing this in the order of REVERSE!!)
As they were having their Computer class, we had to follow them to the lab.
(No, not the Science lab! We have a Computer lab!)
So we all went to the lab to present our books.
I went first but I didn't know how to portray the story in a way the students would be interested, so I summarized it with a few events added, taking up a lot of time. By the time my friend finished, we had only half of the time left. We quickly ran back to where all the Form 2 classes are. We saw that the other classes were occupied.
There was a class in the Art room. We went to investigate and that class turned out to be 2 Batai.
(Haha, 2 Batai, you're gonna be great artists!)
We did our presentations, but one of the girls asked me to repeat what I said, temporarily stopping me in my tracks.
(Uh oh!)
Luckily I was given the green light to continue, saving our skin. We immediately rushed back to class once we were done and we made it in time for Add Math.
Heh, what a busy week!
