What I Learned About How My Efforts Will Contribute To My Exam Marks
My English teacher, Pn Monica once stated that if we do our homework right and achieve her standards in the sectors or grammar, spelling and essay length, our exam marks would be high.
In order to achieve high marks in English, I put in a lot of effort in finishing my work and working on practicing my English. I may be good in English, but some things, even if you're professional in it, need practice.
Through this journey, I learnt that with effort, you can achieve high goals.
I also learnt that by writing blog posts, my English usage was more to standard British structure, but I use a lot of slang when writing the dialogue part according to the character.
Not only that, but also the more effort you put in your writing, the your methods will vary and they begin to suit your style.
The exam involved an essay writing and a few questions. I learnt that, because I put a lot of effort into writing my blog posts and try to stick to teacher's requests in writing the essay, it turned out to be really good.
To put it in simple terms, I learnt that the effort put into my exams didn't go to waste and by putting in that effort, my English exceeded my eggspectations!
