First Term Form 4 Exam
Exams, heh, makes people want to run to a cliff and jump straight-away.
We, as students, fear this time of the year the second most. (The first most being the giving out of results)
Since this is my first Form 4 exam, I had no idea what to expect. Being a student that transferred from Jati (Arts class) to Belian (Sub-Science class), I had a lot to ketchup on!
(Sans be proud! :3)
I feared for my Add-Math the most, Physics was tough but I was getting steady, I thought I could grasp Chemistry, and the new Computer Science was truly a nerve-racker.
Students from Belian get to choose Biology or Computer Science. I took the latter so the chances of my appeal to transfer succeeding was higher.
Boy, was that a gift AND a curse.
Computer Science is simple, with coding as the base, but you must memorize the algorithms, the errors...it ends up flipping you out.
(Yeah, like that.)
On the very first day, all of us were pretty tense. However, we didn't give up hope.
The first exam we took was English. It had only one paper and two sides, giving us some comfort...Until we look more closely.
It consisted of an essay and a few grammar questions. Nothing we couldn't handle.
You could say Malay is a bit of an easy scorer as it works the same as English...well almost.
By the time we went for Sejarah (A.K.A. History), I could hear half the students shout a 'Yes!'.
Computer Science and Biology were taken at the same time, so someone who plans to take both would have a bit of a problem...
Mandarin is an optional subject, and one many Chinese classmates of mine plan to keep. The room was silent as these brave souls fought hard to maintain their roots and their scores at the same time.
All our hopes and dreams went down the drain the moment we settled for Add Math.
(Flush this down the drain and you'll get what I mean. No, really! This song is called "Hopes And Dreams"!!)
The moment that damned paper was lain in front of us, I think I could hear whispered swears going wild across the forlorn room. I think, if we could, we would all flip the table and just leave the class screaming "Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope!!!"
But we couldn't and we sat through Hell and came back crying.
By the time Chemistry came, we were pretty dunked.
(I'm sorry! I couldn't help it!!)
Physics was easier to handle, so we were smoothly riding down the river.
(Row, row, row your goat, gently down that stream!)
Math came to save us that day.
It was the last subject.
The last. Freaking. Subject.
We were going to end this.
We started to ask Mr. James, our Math teacher, some questions, in which he's either give us answers, or say "Sorry, I can't answer you that."
12.24PM
It was almost time. You could hear the anticipation as students were shaking to the bone.
(Yup.)
RING!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were all ecstatic. It was like back in 1957 when Tunku Abdul Rahman announced our Independence.
We could've screamed as we packed our bags to end that memorable day.
(We all looked this THIS!!!)
